One more reason that I am in love with Israel. I love Is for so many reasons from a far… but through it all it still stands for respect, in some ways more than some. Now i know that there are other more important things going on not too far away.. but it being a great democracy in the ME .. it can make time to celebrate all of its children… AM ISRAEL CHAI!!!

I’m sorry - but I just do not understand the point of the Pride parade in Jerusalem. We have all of our rights we are respected in the 2 largest Jewish movements (Reform and Conservative). I mean, is it really appropriate to act like this? Jerusalem is a holy city! Naked men wrapped in a rainbow flag is simply inappropriate. I mean, we want people to respect us? Well, then why don’t we act with even a shred of dignity. Did you see any other group in history act like this when they wanted their rights? NO! They dressed in nice suits and uniformly marched with signs and petitions and demands - and it was effective. I do not want the stereotype of the promiscuous gay man to continue and that’s all these parades do. I am a Conservative Jew who loves his god - G-d..the one true god. Just because we’re gay doesn’t mean we can do whatever we want. Am Israel Chai as well! I love you Israel! The one country in the ME who stands for equality and loves all its children - I just hope these parades don’t change the minds in an ever more conservative country…
