Mideast Piece on Page Six

Thanks to a tip from our friend P, we learned that an aide at the Israeli consulate to the UN quit his job over his outing as a gay porn star. According to this article from the New York Post’s Page Six,
Dror Barak, a k a Roman Ragazzi, worked in the administrative offices of the Israeli consulate while moonlighting as a “model” and gay porn star.
I googled “Roman Ragazzi” and that’s where I found these hot pics. If you’re in NYC or Israel and read Hebrew, you can check out “Roman’s” Atraf dating page here. According to his profile he’s a single, non-smoker and passive. He’s a self-described optimist and independent.

I think they did this guy real injustice.

Yeah - I agree with your post. I mean, even though this guy looks tough and HOT in these pictures doesn’t mean that he doesn’t have feelings too.

I can understand why the subject might be newsworthy, but is it really “outing” if he made porn films? It seems to me that he outed himself. Once you are on film your life is public domain. Ask anyone who has ever been a celebrity. I just don’t know or understand why he left his job. why not stand up and say, “yes I’ve done movies …how has that affected my performance here?” I do feel that an interview rather than an article would have been more appropriate. At least that would have given him an opportunity to respond publicly.

The New York Post is a conservative newspaper owned by Rupert Murdoch, who also owns Fox news. Just watch an hour of that newtork and you’ll understand why they outed the guy. It’s scarier than al Qaeda and almost as vile as Bush.

He’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Sorry he made the film because I think he’s a brilliant guy and he would have had a great career. Being gay, he would have been good for gays in Israel too. I think someday he’ll regret outing himself. In the meantime, I think I believe in love at first sight again!
I’ve seen some gorgeous men in Israel, but Barak — like his name — is just THUNDER!

Actually, according to what I wrote he was totally out at work. The people in the Consulate knew but he felt that the publicity about him was bad for the Consulate so he left. I hope they’ll rehire him.
I live in Israel and I haven’t been privileged to meet a lot of guys who look like him. Wouldn’t mind it, though.
